The Lion King, the 1994 animated Disney classic became the highest grossing film that year along with winning two Academy Awards and a Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy. In 2016, the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant". With a score by Hans Zimmer and original songs written by Elton John and Tim Rice, it is the only soundtrack certified (10x platinum) by the Recording Industry Association of America.These 3” vinyl singles are made for the original RSD3 Mini Turntable and the new Mini Cruiser Turntable.
